Hardscaping Techniques In The Washington DC Area

While the focus of our services is plant-related, we have performed hardscape installation and maintenance.  We have installed dry-stacked stone retaining walls (without mortar to hold stones in place) and repaired stonework.
 
Dry-stack stonework allows for improved drainage and is a perfect planting site for Ferns, Moss and shade-loving plants.

More often we install brick walkways and small patios, also using non-mortar technique.
 
We have also installed Rock Gardens for dwarf Evergreens and Alpine plants.
 
Standing Stones and Labyrinths are among my personal favorite applications of stone.
